The Avengers!

Can I just start off by say that I'm a huge nerd? Green Lantern is my favorite superhero, I love playing video games (Assassin's Creed and Portal being two of my favorites), and i pretty much live off of reading books. All books. Comic Books. Novels. Short Stories. I love to read it all. Well, I was invited to a private screening of The Avengers last Wednesday, and how could i say no?! I mean come on! It's got superheroes, aliens, super awesome fight scenes, and oh come on, who doesn't love Captain America? Chris Evans is just dreamy. I mean, look at this face!

Anyway, I thought the movie was absolutely awesome. The dialogue was both funny and serious. The fight scenes were building smashing. Aliens and superheroes? Yes please! If you have an inner (or outer) nerd, you should all see this! I'm definitely going to buy it once it comes out on DVD, but before that, I'm planning on taking my family to go see it. We're all huge nerds. I think that's where I get it from.

Final Rating: 4.5/5
As it was mostly awesome, there were one or two dry spots. Other than that, it's a must-watch!

People Watching

Have you ever walked around and just looked at people? I know I do, and sometimes, I take their pictures as well. You never know their story, unless you stop and talk to them, but just looking at them is story enough. Here are some of my favorite people watching pictures from when I was on State Street in Madison, WI a while ago.

Most of these people had no idea I was taking their picture, until after it was taken. Most were indifferent about it, but I had one man walk up to me after his picture was taken, and he asked me to remove the picture of him that i'd just taken. What are some of your favorite people watching moments? Have you ever taken pictures of strangers as they walked by? I hope you guys have an awesome day! 

I ♥ Rocks.

I'm not much of a math person, so i opted out of Physics and decided to take a more hands-on science class my senior year. I chose to take Botany (the study of plants) & Geology (the study of rocks). I don't currently have any pictures of Botany adventures, but yesterday me and my Geology class took a field trip to Lake Superior in search of rocks. We walked all up and down the beach and i found some really cool things! We also got to walk through the woods, look at waterfalls, and climb on things. It was totally worth the hours we had to spend on a cold bus to get there. Here are some of my favorite pictures from our trip.

We found rock stacks that were perfectly balanced and really, pretty neat.

Like my hiking boots? They weighed like a billion pounds and my feet hurt by the end of the day. But my feet were dry! And look at this awesome ground! It's iron filled slate and I collected a sample of it!

On the bridge! It was a suspension bridge which meant it moved when you walked across it and my friend Lyndsey didn't think it was very funny when i started jumping up and down about halfway across.

The sky was overcast, so the sky was the same shade of grey as the water.

I ended up taking home like 15 pounds worth of rocks, but I'm happy because I now have pretty rocks to put things like nail polish and trinkets on display! I'll most likely upload pictures of my findings later today when i get a chance to photograph them. Have a great day you guys!

Have you ever gone apple picking and found a secret treasure? I had the joys of finding several adorable bird nests while i went apple picking last October. (PS: These apples were amazing!)

Why, long time no see, stranger.

Oh, hello! Long time no see! hehe How have my non-existant readers been?? I'm here to just give you a quick uodate as to what happened, and what the future's going to hold! (For this blog at least! lol) So I took a very long hiatus, or you could just say that i was feeling kinda super lazy and totally forgot about this blog. lololol I'm such a horrible person!

Well! I guess I can give you a recap of what has happened in the past year!

• My hair has gotten veeeery long.

It's actually longer than this now. This was taken about 5 weeks ago.

• I've started a new blog over at Run Forchy Run. I'm documenting my progress to a healthier lifestyle.
• I'm currently obsessed with the song 1901 by Phoenix. Sooooo good!

• I've planned a whole bunch of new tutorials and things, plus I've got a ton of posts all planned out  that i can't wait to show you guys! 
• I've taken so many pictures of my cats and i can't wait to show you!
• I've made it to a state art competition, so expect to see a vlog on that real soon!
• I'm going to Europe (France, Germany & Switzerland) in early June, and I promise to take a bunch of pictures to share with you all!
• I'm also planning on  going to Texas to see my sister sometime in July so you can expect to see pictures of my nephew!
• I've currently taken pictures of a lady's house. I spend a lot of my time there and i help her clean and we have baking days, and she has a beautiful house. I can't wait to show you how gorgeous it is. 
• I've gotten very into the mood of baking lately. Expect to see posts/pictures of delicious treats!

So yeah...that's pretty much all i have for now. That's more of a what you can expect than what i've done, but it's close enough! I hope you guys all have a good day! =)

SO THIS IS MY OFFICIAL FIRST POST! Yay! I've never had an official blog before. I mean i've had minimal little blog things that have to do with school or friends or whatever, but this is for the world to see! Ahh! Creepers! 


Now that i've bored you with a ridiculously boring 2 paragraphs, i'll give you a picture and some facts. Booo~

• I like to paint. Watercolor is my favorite medium.
• I have yet to go to college.
• I enjoy milkshakes very much. I love Coffee flavored ones the best.
• I enjoy tea. Green tea with milk and honey is my favorite.
• I collect giraffes. They're my favorite animal.
• My favorite outfit would be a v-neck shirt and jeans.
• I'm a super lazy person. I've failed classes because I was just too lazy to do the work. DX
• I enjoy buttons. I like the blue ones the best.
• My favorite colors are: Orange, Olive Green, Turquoise, Pale Yellow and Burgundy.
• I speak English, German, and limited French. I'm teaching myself.
• I fail at all things musical. 
• I wish I could sing.
• I'm only 5 feet tall. I enjoy being short!
• I never wear matched socks.
• I collect big chunky bracelets.

Geesh. I feel narcissistic. =\
